(More customer reviews)This poster looks really nice, and the paper quality is good, too. The colors displayed in the photo match the actual poster very well. I posted an additional customer image of the poster hanging on my wall. The coloring of this poster is slightly different from similar posters where the blue background is brighter (although I have not actually purchased one of those). It all depends on what you're looking for; I was looking for something a little more passive. I am very pleased with this poster.

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Some of his paintings are now among the world's best known, most popular and expensive works of art. Most of his best-known works were produced in the final two years of his life, during which time he cut off part of his left ear following a breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide. His popular works include The Starry Night, Starry Night Over the Rhone, The Night Cafe, Bedroom in Arles, Sunflowers, Cafe Terrace at Night.

(More customer reviews)I wish more sellers would accurately depict their offerings. I like the print, but, honestly, it's similar to what I could have done on an inkjet printer. The art itself is 10.5" by 9" with the rest being rather silly-looking empty white space "matting". The "professional" framing is nothing more than a cheap wood poster frame -- the kind with the little metal tabs you bend down in the back. I removed the acrylic to cut down on the glare. I'm sure I will eventually cut it down to size and properly reframe it. Save your money and just order the print; skip the frame.

(More customer reviews)This poster came to me as any other. It was a dreary day, but alas...the mail arrived and my John Lennon poster was finally in my posession. I noticed right away that Its big, and looks nice. Its as delightfully blue as a blue scale photo can be. Everyone at my church really loved it. I'm thinking of buying one every year and giving it to someone who really needs one...maybe at christmas time. On a more serious note...I'd just beware of shippers. I ordered 8 posters and they all came rolled up (which is fine) but were mashed in one of those extra long toilet paper cardboard middle things which made every one of them wrinkley on the edges. So If you want to ensure that your purchase arrives wrinkle free... better pick it up off the shelf yourself. (i think i made up a new offensive phrase...shelf yourself.)

Klimt's primary subject was the female body. The Kiss (original Der Kuss) was painted by Gustav Klimt during his golden period, and is probably his most famous work. It depicts a couple, in various shades of gold and symbols, sharing a kiss against a bronze background. The original painting is currently at the Osterreichische Galerie Belvedere museum, which is in the Belvedere palace, in Vienna, Austria.

(More customer reviews)I did not look closely enough at the poster image, but was too happy to see the low price on this poster. Unfortunately when it arrived, all my students, who are doing a project on identifying and reporting on figures in the painting, quickly pointed out that lots of them are cropped out of this one. You are missing a number of figures on the left and right, and also some beneath the lower boundary also. If you don't care about those, the quality is good for the price, but I definitely regret ordering it. I'll just give it away or put it in a sleeve and throw it in the classroom closet.

It looks nothing like the photo on this website promises. It just looks as though someone has photoshoped it extremely poorly. The colours are off, the poportions are all wrong, so many detailes are left out ect. Seriously - I'm not a perfectionist, but this poster is a complete mess, and I had no choise but to bin it!

(More customer reviews)There are many Klimt "The Kiss" posters to choose from so when I saw what appeared to be a good deal for a 24x36 print framed, reduced from $180 to $34 I went for it. I paused when I saw the shipping charge was $59 but decided that was OK for what must be a good quality product, usually $180. It arrived today and I really feel duped. There is no way this could have ever listed for $180. The poster print quality is OK but the frame is junk - very thin and flimsy with a piece of corrugated cardboard for a back and thin acrylic on the front. The cardboard is ill fitting and loose so the poster falls to the bottom of the frame. For the $59 shipping you can buy a much more substantial frame at Target, etc. I could have bought the same poster for $7 with free shipping rather than the $93 I paid.

Whoever is doing the packing for your company needs to be more careful. I can't frame these posters because of the damage. Most of the damage is a wrinkling on the top area. This is before I handled the posters in any way. This specific one also has a small piece missing from the top left part of the poster. Very poor condition.
