Color and style only Claude Monet can bring us. If you look at this replica of the painting you will feel that not only do you see the lilies on the surface but that you can actually see into the water.
Oddly enough there are several versions painted by Monet with the same title "Nympheas." This is "Nympheas Paysage D'eau", "Nympheas Landscape Of water" or "Waterlilies"
There is enough color to accommodate many different mats and frames depending on your environment and taste.

Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a French impressionist painter. In fact the term "impressionist derived from the title of his painting Impression, Sunrise. While visiting the Louvre, in Paris, as a young man, rather than copy the old masters Monet looked out the window and painted what he saw. He continued to paint scenes of modern life, throughout his career. His most famous works are of the water lilies in his garden at his home in Giverny.

(More customer reviews)This poster looks really nice, and the paper quality is good, too. The colors displayed in the photo match the actual poster very well. I posted an additional customer image of the poster hanging on my wall. The coloring of this poster is slightly different from similar posters where the blue background is brighter (although I have not actually purchased one of those). It all depends on what you're looking for; I was looking for something a little more passive. I am very pleased with this poster.

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Some of his paintings are now among the world's best known, most popular and expensive works of art. Most of his best-known works were produced in the final two years of his life, during which time he cut off part of his left ear following a breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide. His popular works include The Starry Night, Starry Night Over the Rhone, The Night Cafe, Bedroom in Arles, Sunflowers, Cafe Terrace at Night.

I am very proud to display it on my wall, because it looks more expensive than it really was. In fact, from far away, it looks more like a print than a poster.

Starry Night over the Rhone (September 1888) is one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings of Arles at night. The night sky and the effects of light at night provided the subject for some of his most famous paintings, including Cafe Terrace at Night (painted earlier the same month) and the later canvas from Saint-Remy, The Starry Night.

Mark Rothko, born Marcus Rothkowitz (Latvian: Marks Rotko, September 25, 1903 - February 25, 1970), was a Latvian-born American painter and printmaker. He is classified as an abstract expressionist, although he himself rejected this label, and even resisted the classification as an 'abstract painter'. In New York, Rothko enrolled in the New School of Design, where one of his instructors was the artist Arshile Gorky. This was probably his first encounter with a member of the "avant-garde". That autumn, he took courses at the Art Students League of New York taught by still-life artist Max Weber. Rothko's move to New York established him in a fertile atmosphere for the experience of art from all cultures and periods.

Japan Edo Period (Cherry Blossom Viewing) Art Poster Print Review

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this print for a hall bathroom. The theme of the bathroom is asian/cherry blossoms. The print was very cheap and because it was so inexpensive I decided I'd let the manufacturers frame it.
The frame job is poor and flimsy. The frame itself bends and is very thin and poorly made. The print had dust all over it. The wood (or whatever the material is) had a crack in it upon opening that box.
The print is nice, but don't waste your money by having them frame it. Save your doe and either frame it yourself or take it to an art store like Aaron Brother's to frame.
