(More customer reviews)I have to say this is a huge improvement on their Edward pillowcase. First off, I love the picture. They rarely used this image and made it more unique. The picture is located on both sides of the case. Secondly, the fabric is much softer and more flexible. I can actually sleep on it without feeling that I was sleeping on plastic. I put it through the wash before using it and the case came out without any problems.
Currently I'm using it and I love it. I alternate it with my Edward case when its between washings. However, the price here is a bit higher. I suggest buying at the store if you can since they are currently in stock and a bit cheaper. So, if you are a huge Twilight fan, this is a good purchase to make.

(More customer reviews)While the colors are really bright and cheery on this Cars bed set, the quality is not the best. Even after washing multiple times, the sheets are 'scratchy'. The thread count isn't high enough and they never soften up. Our son does use the sheets, but won't use the pillowcase. So, it's just become a 'decorative' pillow. He doesn't like the way the pillowcase feels on his face. (He's a tummy sleeper). It would be nice if the manufacturers would make this version in a 'jersey knit', or even a SOFTER cotton!! ;o)

The only con is the underside of the comforter.. the fuzzy down stuff comes out of the underside fabric in thin threads until you wash it. Other than that I love this set.

(More customer reviews)If you have a Superhero fan in your life, be SURE to try this entire set, including the comforter. What I couldn't believe is how vibrant the colors are and remain even after repeated washings. It is made in Pakistan by some off-manufacturer and not Dan River, so keep that in mind when buying the sheets since they use a cheaper material to weave the sheets, thus making them stiffer. Or, shall I dare say, "crunchy" as my little one says. However, I think I might have found a solution to this. Try putting them through the rinse cycle twice when washing them, adding a good liquid fabric softener each time. I've found that this has significantly increased the suppleness and comfort range of these sheets. These sheets are the favorite so far, particularly how they just light up the room when you walk in. The deep, rich blues are just amazing! Great purchase, great price. Highly recommend!

(More customer reviews)I bought this sheet set, along with the Disney Cars Comforter Twin, for my four-year-old Cars fanatic and he was thrilled. My son falls asleep snugly wrapped up in Disney Cars characters each night.
Although the pictures and graphics on the fabric are vivid and colorful, neither the comforter nor the sheets are particularly soft. If your kids care about such things, I'd recommend you break out the fabric softener before you make the bed. Of course, for the price, I was not expecting Egyptian cotton.
As expected, the set included a fitted sheet, bed sheet, and pillowcase. One side of the pillowcase features Lightning McQueen, and the other side depicts Mater the tow truck. The graphics on the sheets are cool enough, but the really eye-popping art is saved for the pillow and Disney Cars Comforter Twin.

Star Wars Lightsaber Duel Twin Comforter and Sheet Set Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Galactic Heroes version of these sheets (also made by Dan River) for my toddler b/c they look so adorable, and they are. They're vibrant. But when I first openened the package, I was disappointed to feel how uncomfortable they were.
Naturally, I hoped that they would soften up after a few washes...but after 5 washes, they still felt rough. And to add insult to injury, the elastic edge on the bottom sheet started to unravel and create a 4 inch hole.
I'm no expert on thread count when it comes to sheets, but I would guess that these are around 100. The weave is so loose that you can see through the sheets and it reminds me of gauze.
It's a shame that they are of such poor quality b/c I really do love the pattern. I ended up just making curtains out of the sheets..

It was just my luck that I was outbid last night on an ebay auction for it and I started searching elsewhere. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found out it was back in stock at Amazon. I thought I would have to wait a while and pre-order it first but today I got the email that it is going to be shipped out tomorrow. It's not back on the target website yet but if you have been wanting this bed set for a while get it asap before it sells out everywhere all over again. I'm super excited to pay a normal price for it and to be getting it soon!!!!
