(More customer reviews)As I searched for posters of fractals, I was immediately attracted to the beauty of this one--the dark background, the shimmery wisps... and the price was certainly a bargain! However, the old adage "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" fits my facepalm reaction when I opened my mailing tube. On the print I received, the black color was that faded, red-orange-black color of sunbleached black fabric, and the wisps were fuzzy--not sharp and clean. The paper quality was nice and heavy, but it looked for all purposes as if I had tried to print it myself on my home scanner/printer while my printer was running low on ink. The blurred quality reminded me of times I tried to enlarge an image beyond the pixilation of the photo--tiny cells of color splotching instead of uniform color. I'm afraid this particular print doesn't do justice to the beauty and intricacy of fractal images. The shipping was prompt, though, and the picture was wrapped in plastic as a precautionary measure--I appreciated the care in packaging and the prompt shipping. I'm ready to toss it and chalk this up to "caveat emptor."

(More customer reviews)I'm using this poster as a background to my fish tank. works perfect. printed on good quality paper and the image is clear. only issue (if you can even consider it much of an issue) is the image they sent me was of saturn taken from above its rings. it is advertised as being an image of saturn from below its rings. not a big deal, but i thought i'd mention it.

(More customer reviews)This print looks like it was printed on a home inkjet printer. You can easily see each individual line of printing, like the printer was running out of ink at the time it was made. Also, the picture is too low resolution for the print size. Pixels are visible all over it. And it is slightly misaligned from the edge of the paper it is printed on, which is only apparent if you aren't going to frame it (The white border around the picture changes thicknesses).
Overall, had I known the quality, I would not have payed 2.50 plus shipping. I would have maybe payed 1 dollar if someone were selling it on the street or something. Don't get me wrong, if you are looking for something to put in a dorm room for cheap and won't be looking at it at a distance closer than 3 or 4 feet, it looks fine. Just don't expect a real poster print, because this definitely looks bootlegged.

(More customer reviews)I really like the posters. They are very good quality prints and are very detailed. I would advise against upgrading to the black resign frames. For $7.50 per poster you get two pieces of plastic rims for the poster (one long and one short). Their purpose would seem to be to reinforce the poster when hanging them up with thumb tacks so that the stress would be on the resign frame, but the frames do not grip the posters very snugly and there is no difference than if you were to hang the posters up without them. I do strongly recommend the posters, but stay away from the black resign frame option.

It was better than many planet posters I found that seem to have no rhyme or reason to the planets scattered all over the page. The paper is good quality and the seller shipped quickly and packed well.
