Disney Princess is a Walt Disney Company franchise, based on fictional characters who have been presented in various Disney movies. The princesses to be featured were chosen from classic Disney films. The characters were not chosen specifically for their royal titles, but rather for how well they fit into what Disney executives deemed 'the Princess mythology.' Mulan is an example of this concept: she has no familial ties to royalty, but is still included in the character list. They other princesses are: Snow White, Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Tiana. Disney has announced the future addition of Princess Rapunzel from the computer animated film. The franchise has released dolls, sing-along videos, and a variety of other children's products, apparel, and even adhesive bandages featuring the Disney Princesses.

I contacted the company and although it was sent out by mail - somehow it never got delivered - within 24 hours of me sending my email, they had answered me, and sent the replacement at no charge to me by UPS. (More customer reviews)The image on the poster is just as displayed - the colors are vibrant and the lines crisp. It's more similar to the CGI art used in the movie than a traditional piece. Although the poster itself is relatively small (11"x17"), it's good enough for me and what I expected. The image is printed on a cardstock-like material, so it's stiffer than what you might expect a typical poster to feel like. As a result, I received my poster in a box the dimensions of the poster rather than a tube.
