(More customer reviews)The handle was kind of flimsy for when I filled all the sleaves with discs, it broke off on one side of the handle. I scewed it back in with a phillips and it's fine now. It's a wonderful product and saves me so much space. I would definately recommend this.

Memorex CD/DVD Keepers (50-Pack, Plastic Sleeves) Review

(More customer reviews)I put my 60+ games into these sleeves.
I needed space, so I'd take my "new" games from their case/paper sleeves and put them into these plastic sleeves stored vertically in a shoebox.
Recently I pulled out a few games to load onto my computer and noticed what appeared to be a "substance" on my discs ?
About 90+% of my games are new, so I was confused.
I had to use hot water + microfiber towel to "scrub" the stuff off.
Well, to cut to the chase, I pulled out a few more and saw the same thing: large areas of "a substance" all over some discs.
Since my games are new, the manufacturers different, I was puzzled.
I cleaned these as well.
To see what's what, I pulled out a game I cleaned awhile back; yep, it was messed up again.
It appears these plastic sleeves do not breathe and the sleeves transfer some gunk like masterial to the discs ... I say gunk like, because I had to scrub it off = it would smear with a basic cotton rag
After pulling out some 60+ games(...about 120+ discs), we counted 78 discs that needed to be cleaned.
So, it has to be these sleeves.
Some were easy to clean, others required quite a bit of pressure to remove the gunk/subtance.
Trust me, I'm very careful with my games !
I'd buy these, or any other plastic sleeves with caution.

I love the pockets for the media covers because you can just fold the cover in half and slip it in. The CD/DVD pocket is great as well. The only thing that would be better is if the pockets were a smidge deeper. The other great thing about these sleeves is that they are two-sided! Ample space for a large collection!

The paper sleeves are also particularly good when mailing CDs and DVD discs because they protect the disc while reducing the cost of postage. It costs less to mail CD and DVD media in paper sleeves than it does to mail the same CDs and DVDs in slim jewel cases. This savings alone should make these sleeves pay for themselves!
They are also useful for people who have accumulated so many CDs and DVDs that to store the media even in the slim jewel cases now takes up too much room.
Overall, these are good quality paper sleeves at the right price. I highly recommend these CD/DVD paper sleeves for people who want a practical and cost-efficient alternative to jewel cases.
