(More customer reviews)The description says "Solomon Kane Reproduction Poster Print"- and that's EXACTLY what it is. A "reproduction", in this case, means that it's a poor blown up scan of a smaller image.
The graphics are muddy and show signs of severe image degradation due to an interpolative size increase. In other words, it looks like someone blew it up in Photoshop and just printed out the image on a roll-top inkjet. I can actually SMELL the inkjet inks and Professional Proofing stock used in the process.
The larger type is readable... but the smaller type is nearly illegible. In my opinion, THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED "reproduction" - and is certainly not done on an offset printing press.
I have worked in a commercial printshop for the last 32 years, and I know a little something about Offset and other forms of Printing. (More specifically, I work in the Electronic Pre-Press department.) I can detect little, or no actual prep work done here, perhaps with the exception of a little Unsharp Mask filter in Photoshop.
I could have easily done this with nothing more than a downloaded image from the web, a copy of Photoshop, and access to a rolltop Epson 6 color inkjet printer. All of which I have.
