The poster is printed on a fairly heavy stock, but the finish is not glossy, so you have to be careful not to get any kind of tape or anything sticky on the picture side, because when it comes off it will take the color with it. My girlfriend took off some of the pink background just from removing the poster from its plastic wrapping - it got caught on some tape at the end. The paper is intact, but there is now a decidedly lighter shade of pink on a good chunk of the poster, leading me to believe that the printing was less than top-of-the-line.
While all the edges and contrasts within the picture are crisp, the color doesn't really pop out at you as in some other posters, so this falls squarely into the "average" category.
