(More customer reviews)I just received my tube of posters. I ordered 6 or 7 via Amazon and it turns out 4 were in one tube, one is to follow. One is on the order but not in the tube. I got the Sailboats at Argenteuil poster because of the use of colors in the sails etc. In the poster I got, there is no color in the sail at all. It is the white of the poster. I had to do a double take. Yes, there is some color in the painting, and the print represented on the screen also has the colors. The one i got is so washed out , it is basically a 3 color print blue and white being the predominant ones with some aqua in there do distinguish it from the blue.
I am rather upset. I have been a poster art buyer for decades and know there are differing qualities,however, I did trust that Amazon would have better than the bottom of the barrel, and that is the only way I can describe the poster of this particular piece of art to be. it is badly reproduced. A kid and a $20 printer could do better from the net.
I give it one star because i have to.
Maybe it's a different issue,however, my order indicated 5 prints and there were only 4 in the tube yet I was charged for all 5. I had seen a promotion from the company if you bought 3 you got one free, well I got it the other way around. order 5 get 4. maybe that is how they get the one to give to the people who only order 3 to get their 4th one free. ; }
