I bought the Galactic Heroes version of these sheets (also made by Dan River) for my toddler b/c they look so adorable, and they are. They're vibrant. But when I first openened the package, I was disappointed to feel how uncomfortable they were.
Naturally, I hoped that they would soften up after a few washes...but after 5 washes, they still felt rough. And to add insult to injury, the elastic edge on the bottom sheet started to unravel and create a 4 inch hole.
I'm no expert on thread count when it comes to sheets, but I would guess that these are around 100. The weave is so loose that you can see through the sheets and it reminds me of gauze.
It's a shame that they are of such poor quality b/c I really do love the pattern. I ended up just making curtains out of the sheets..

The saga continues and May 19, 2005 will bring a new milestone when Episode III, The Revenge of The Sith, the final chapter in the movie series, is released. As the last piece of the puzzle, Episode III will answer the key question that have lingered for 28 years and one in particular that towers above all. How did Darth Vader, the greatest screen villain of all time come to be? In the Light Saber Duel bedding, the comforter has a silhouetted image of a lightsaber duel between Obi Wan and Anakin before Anakin transforms into Darth Vader. It is a blue, aqua and black color scheme and also incorporates badge design elements on the sheeting.
